Who Should Apply

The Fellowship program is designed for long-standing ABM members who have made meaningful contributions to breastfeeding medicine through clinical care, education, research, or advocacy.

Key Eligibility Highlights 

Applicants must:

  • Hold an MD, DO, MBBS (or equivalent) and an active medical license
  • Maintain at least five consecutive years of ABM membership
  • Demonstrate ongoing professional experience and continuing education in breastfeeding medicine
  • Participate actively in the ABM community, including conference attendance
  • Submit letters of support from ABM peers

Fellowship Recognition

New Fellows are formally recognized at the ABM Annual International Meeting, where they are welcomed into a distinguished cohort of leaders in the field.
